If this is the same story….. I remember it from high school 10th grade English class. It was so beyond anything I had ever read before. The feeling about it has lingered in memory for 54 years. I will not be listening to it.

I watched a black and white movie of this story, and it has stuck with me. I wonder if it was part of the inspiration for Hunger Games. It's simply frightening...😢
