Yes and No. With the strict regulations of today, it isn't always about engine limitation/preservation. Unless he wants to keep the car for 300k miles, ECU is fine. Allowing the car to breath more, is also fine.

Yes. Anything that is not either blue, black or carbon needs to be blacked out, unless a real carbon version is available. And the calipers need to be matched to the blue paint.

Have to admit I was dis-appointed you did not get a Capristo system on your announcement video the other day, but at the end of the day it's your car. Wow that's crazy good!!! Sounds better than Huracan now haha When it first came out new R8 didn't excite me that much, but I like it more and more, such a fantastic car that performs! That interior and dash is amazing and your color is one of the best! With that sound it is complete beast now! Don't modify it too much, don't make it ridiculous, don't ruin it, because it is perfect the way it is now. Some suggest wide body kit, please don't do that, that's disgusting! If I were you I'd go on a trip to Europe somewhere now while summer lasts, to Alps most likely and enjoy the car, screw more modifications, car is fantastic, pack and go!

Personally I think you should do the visual mods similar to the corvette, the front grill needs to be gloss black definitely, maybe tint rear lights and a black roof etc.. sounds awesome and is a stunning car already 👍🏻

Afaik it isnt just a silencer the stock one. Its also a catalyst. I think i spotted a sensor somewhere. Maybe not for that im not sure. That could atleast explain the massive weight.
