The Louis Vuitton Pochette Accessories - Am I crazy for buying it in 2022?

Well I did it! I bought the Pochette Accessories in DA for nearly $1300 in April 2022. Am I completely crazy or will the cost per wear make this “must have” bag worth it?

I went through all those things about is it worth it. I love it and I am putting the cost out of my head. I don’t plan on telling people how much I spent on it because they would look at me and have me committed. I am just loving these bags

I’m two days in and am absolutely loving it - I definitely see myself using this bag an insane amount this spring and summer. That’s a good point about not telling the price 😂 Most people really wouldn’t know and I’m not about to draw attention to it! 🤣

Was just able to buy this online! So happy and excited... back when I started wanting to buy it, it was maybe 800€ and I paid 950€ now... I guess next year I'll be happy cause it's gonna be for sure over 1000€.... thank you so much for this vid. I love watching these to get even more excited!!!

Be careful wearing your new bag up against dark denim the die will transfer. I have had mine for over 20 years and it is definitely worth it, mine is in the regular LV print, I use mine as a handbag

Hi Margie! I am enjoying your videos and reviews... thanks for sharing your thoughts! The LV price increases have been fast and furious recently and they will just continue going up, up, up. There are multiple bags I wish I had nabbed way back before the prices skyrocketed (and in the middle of typing this, the Pochette Metis finally became available on the LV website and I just payed the ridiculous full retail price to secure it!). Regarding the Pochette Accessories - I think if you love it and will use and enjoy it, then it is worth the (albeit inflated) cost! It sounds like you will primarily be using it in the summer months, so it will likely have a longer life as a seasonal bag. I hope you are confident in your reasoning for purchasing it and have fun using it!

Totally worth it. There are smaller bags on the site that cost more! I got mine and I'm so glad I did as you know the price is going to go up. It fits a ton and can be used as a bag or a pouch. It satisfies that 90s trend I've been craving and it's low key. No one knows it's LV unless they really know LV. I've been looking for a pouch that I can just take my essentials in, that's casual, and doesn't scream LV. This ticks all the boxes. And I finally have a spring/summer colored bag. This thing is gonna get so much use. As far as cost, this is the least expensive actual bag on the website and it holds so much for that. Yes there are SLGs that you can jerry rig into a bag, but I'm not a fan of having to jerry rig SLGs into bags. It seems so desperate and never works quite as well as just having an actual bag. Oh and dont forget the shoes you'll be able to get to match! In short, it's totally worth it. Enjoy!!! I know I sure will. 😉 Thanks for sharing. 💝 Oh and I will definitely be using apple guard to protect the bag from color transfer.

Yes to ALL of this! It totally is satisfying that 90s trend for me and it’s been amazing as a grab and go clutch or crossbody (with an added strap I purchased online). I really like the PA but think the current price is absolutely outrageous and would not buy one at what they are asking. I am fairly new to luxury and already feel priced out! I was lucky enough to buy both the monogram and the DA at $560 and I have a vintage style monogram. Honestly I only use the vintage monogram one. It still looks great so in my mind why use the “ new” monogram one, and every time I take out the DA I put it away and use something else. Not sure why, I am not a light colored bag person I guess. So they sit unused but I will not get rid of them because I would never buy them again. Hope you love it and get a ton of use out of it!

I hear you - the price for what the PA is, is totally ridiculous. I feel somewhat insane for spending the money on it. At the same time, it also brings me joy and I’ve worn it 19 times since I bought it! (I track my outfits every day on an app because I’m a data nerd). Sometimes I wonder if a Coach version would make me just as happy and I think the answer is no. So I guess that says something about me 😜😂🙈

yes, it's crazy. the kirigami set offers 3 bags for a smaller price. Also the Voyage bags are a good value, and they hold more.

I just got a monogram one used for 800€. I like it but I actually think it’s a bit too small! I had the old version white Murakami one and sold it for 400€ 6 years ago . It was too small. I though the NM would be the right fit, but ugh I don’t know. I might actually sell mine and never try again.

Congratulations on your purchase! I need to do a follow up video on the PA because I can definitely confirm that it has been worth it. I use it almost every day inside my work tote - and I love pulling it out when I need to run a little after work errand or go to dinner without taking my entire huge bag. I bought a cross body strap and small gold shoulder chain and that has added value too! Enjoy! 💕

Does the chain fit evenly on the Pochette Accessoires bag? I know I probably will not like the leather strap, but I was wondering if the chain would fit evenly since it looks like the one side of the bag where you loop thru the strap, is longer. Also, where did you buy the chain strap?

@@bee3027 I really don’t think you can go wrong! I thought I’d find the DA limiting with my outfits because of the print but find it to be quite versatile in the spring and summer thus far. I also like how the DA is a bit more understated compared to monogram… but with that being said: I’d still love to add the monogram to my collection at some point because I think it transitions a bit more for fall and casual evenings out. Anyway, I’d say go with your gut - it’s impossible to choose wrong!

Oh my goodness I’m loving it and using it so much - it’s become almost a daily grab and go that fits into my work tote. Yes! I tried on the Felicie Pochette in boutique and I loved it! I’d probably get it in the black empreinte leather or maybe the black/baige combo! It’s gorgeous but has a bit of an elevated look because of the closure.
