The husband who wanted a 'traditional' wife then respecting his wife's work so quickly is a really funny through line. not knocking it, its just kinda funny. Like he had no idea what her work actually entailed. Haha

It shows the age and time this was made of thinking we should support the guy who wants his wife in the kitchen

@@ChristmasAficionado in the 80's men who grew up with their mothers staying home while their fathers went to the factories and offices to work expected their wives to be homemakers and hand them a hot dinner while barefoot and pregnant. But started perusing careers some men were told I'm tired to so get your own fucking dinner and that was too much of a shock for them to handle
