Jihyo wrote AND composed trouble. The melodies were insane and the producers enhanced them so well. My interpretation of between 1&2 is that kpop contracts usually last 7 years, and twice had just renewed their contracts for another 3 years (maybe 3, maybe more, but its usually in increments of 3 afterwards). They actually released a japanese song right after renewing and right before this album called "Celebrate" talking about still being together. So I think between 1&2 is about the bridge between their old era and their new era in a way! I know there are other meanings related to Twice and Onces, but I love to think about it this way too. Hope you consider doing the Members' solo and subunit music -- Jihyo, Nayeon, Tuzyu, and MiSaMo japanese subunit :)

I would check out some of the Japanese albums as well their recent album DIVE is probably of their best Japanese album along with CELEBRATE AND PERFECT WORLD which are also the title track names too. for me, since 'more&more' EP., all of their release are easy to love. :D not mean before that is not good, they're still good but might fit specific taste. (all of them, production are always go crazy) as i saw, i got some of their main concept (just me anyway. :D), always feel good songs. and also, their first 3 EP. define them (for me) till now : 'don't just book by cover', 'experimental' & 'roller coaster'. some of their album did 'music genre base', like 'what is love?' (swing/twist), 'fancy you'(psychedelic , which is super super cool, because that genre is rare.), 'taste of love'('bossa-nova'&'funky'), 'between 1&2' is Y2K concept with 'rock'&'hip-hop', 'strategy', etc. some with message, like 'eyes wide open', 'formula of love', 'with you+th', etc. which be 'mix genre' ('more&more' with multiple dance genre. and also refer to something you might want more like 'firework' and 'oxygen', still can't figure it out with other. :P) Jihyo, Nayeon, Tzuyu have their solo project. MiSaMo (Mina, Sana, Momo) did sub-unit with japanese release. ('masterpiece' EP. with jazz vibe) ti's japanese release which dangerous for youtube reaction but worth check it out. anyway, have a good day. :)
