Yesss, thats what I also noticed and loved ❤. I noticed in a lot of Nigerian movies that when a woman falls in love with a rich man from the city and she moves away with him she goes from not wearing a wig to wearing one in end and I don’t like the optics because it says that a BW can’t reach an elevated status or that they haven’t fully arrived unless they attain the Eurocentric aesthetic. You can reach a higher economic status and maintain your Afrocentric features, you can look elegant with Afrocentric features and that’s what we saw at the end of this movie, which sent out a good message.
