The Love Story of Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita (ft. DinkFam)

This is an appreciation video for Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita and how far they've both come in this Internet space. It's a complete story told entirely through edits of their JennaJulien Podcasts, Twitch streams, and other various videos. It opens a dialogue on having a relationship on the Internet and how, despite their astrological incompatibility, an Aries and Virgo fight against all the odds.
A special thank you to some members of the DinkFam who contributed and sent in videos of themselves. I couldn't have done this without you. They are on great terms and they had no personal issues with one another that would warrant any of us being bitter with him. They had their time and then it ended. I respect Max and I'm extremely grateful for the period of Jenna's life that he was her partner during, and I respect his role as a separate and valid relationship of hers even if he wasn't the type meant for her in long term. I assume you're probably not being too serious but it breaks my heart to see people talk about max this way. The same way we would all have a hard time adjusting if they broke up and one of them started dating someone else, people were having a hard time letting go of the Jenna and Max relationship. While Jenna has left youtube, she has left behind a LEGACY. They are a god damn enigma. I will share this video with my future kids as an introduction to the whirlwind that is this power couple. I hope to find an archive of their videos to just watch with them and say "Yes, these are some of my favorite people, if you're ever feeling down, watch some of their videos. It's hard to be sad when you're laughing so hard you can't breathe." Also scary accurate with the predictions: hamster, 4th dog, and a quiet 2022 to 2023. In the time span of me being a Jenna Marbles fan, I have been in a 7 year domestic violence relationship, fought to get out of it, had two year probation for fighting it, cleared my record, had two kids, went homeless, started a job, started college, became a 4.0 student for a year, became a Native American activist, got my first apartment, bought my first vehicle and living fully on my own. I just think they are such good role models for society, for the internet community, for any of their viewers. I grew up watching her, I grew up with her, and she's been such a huge part of my life. I still have a lot to grow but just seeing where she is now, makes me realize that it is possible to get there. I just know that she's one of my role models, in every way, and Julian is another one too. As individuals and as a couple, they've taught me so much.

What I want for them is more than what I want for me. If they’re being off the Internet is what brings them peace and happiness, I want that for them, even if that means giving them up. Is it sad that the era is over? Sure. But knowing with every fiber of my being that they’re good people, sending off positive vibes into the world, making the world a better place motivates me to be a better person and live by their example.

I remember when everyone seemed to hate on Julien... they only did that because they were used to Jenna being with Max and when she started dating Julien, people couldnt help but to compare him to Max and they felt like julien was the bad guy for being the new guy. But once they seen how happy jenna was, they started trusting Julien and stopped hating on him and realized he was better for her than Max and all was good. Now, these same people who hated Julien, love him and dont even remember Max lol

Also not to mention Julien is just an amazing, funny guy. I can see why Jenna loves him, even though we only see a fraction of their lives. I was one of those people that were upset about max and jenna splitting and wasnt very fond of Julien but that quickly changed. I love them two so much!

I'm 18, almost graduated highschool and I have felt more lost than I ever have before. I feel like I'm far from where I need to be, and far from finding the people I'm supposed to meet on that journey. I come back to this video for hope. Jenna and Julien have come a long way together, living their best life and they deserve it. It's easy to forget that with anyone you look up to, they were once in that exact same spot too. Lost with little direction. It's something I think most of us, if not all of us, go through when growing up. Thank you for this memorial video, it is dear to my heart and I'm sure it is for Jenna and Julien too.
