Excellent interview with Arielle! I would love to know if Arielle has noticed something similar happens to guys. A male friend of mine went through a very difficult relationship with a woman he fell in love with who was a narcissist and she hooked him and kept him hooked by love bombing him. It took him quite a while to pull himself away from her. He would pull away and then she would reel him back in again. I was so happy and relieved when he finally ended that relationship! I've been re-reading her book The Soulmate Secret and while watching this interview I purchased the digital copy of her new book and will begin reading it today.

Yes, important point you make! Narcissists come in all shapes and sizes - and gender! It seems it is about 2:1 men to women, but it can of course happen in any relationship. I am so glad your friend got out. I will ask Arielle to weigh in. Thank you 🙏

@@LauraPlumb Thank you for responding! I have no way of knowing what the ratio is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is as you say, 2:1 men to women. I haven't been able to put down The Love Thief today! It's VERY good. No wonder it's been picked up for a TV series. Several years ago I heard an awful story about a middle aged man where I worked who before he passed away, fell for a woman online in a country somewhere in Asia who took him for a lot of money before he realized what was going on. She "love bombed" him and he believed she really cared for him but of course she didn't. My boss was the executor of his estate and told me the sad story.
