Great cover art for The Love Witch and i love that they took the time and effort to use older cameras to give it a more authentic 1960s look. :)

I just saw this movie and you are so right when it is a slow burn. I enjoyed the beginning with the 60's look and was totally shocked to see the BMW pull up. I started losing interest in the middle, just where it was going slow as you said. I did watch to the end and was totally confused with the ending, but as I have thought about it and hearing your comments here, I have come to appreciate how good this movie really is. Thanks for this video

This movie is bonkers cool and sad. But mostly a vibe. Its impressive the length the director went to achieve the look and feel of the film!

Nice review! This plays somewhat regularly at a rep theater by me. I've seen it once or twice but it's been 5+ years. I should try to make it to one of those screenings, usually film projection too. You should check out a movie called All the Colors of the Dark and other Edwige Fenech/Sergio Martino flicks. Definitely share similar aesthetics!

Wonderful, underrated movie. Clearly influenced by David Lynch’s style of pastiche, but takes it a level further with the production. Defo need to rewatch this soon.

bro, you have tiamine right? please help me, EVERYDAY i have some nerve symptoms as severe brain fog, muscle weakness, hands shaking, cold sweat, cold intolerance, dry lips and throat, needles at fingers…… all from b1 deficiency… how much did take you before you saw any improvement, and how much had? i had hcl for 3 weeks and nothing, so i started also benfotiamine 600mg since monday, and also nothing
@Drift0r3 ай бұрын
Are you taking good them in conjuction with methylated B-vitamins and magnesium threonate? That wad the winning mix for me but I got rapid improvements from cheap Walgreens B1 vitamins.
@murilo63433 ай бұрын
@@Drift0r yess, literally all of them, both b complex and magnesium in multiple forms (which has treonate)… do you remember how weeks/day took you to recover? or start seeing at least any improvement? for me the worst is the brain fog, no improvement at all… the brand of your b1 is “nature made”? the 100mg mononitrate
@Drift0r3 ай бұрын
Yes to the Nature Made. It took me 12 hours to start improving. If you took this for three weeks and got nothing, then thiamine is unlikely to be your problem
@murilo63432 ай бұрын
@@Drift0rbro but why do i need methylated forms of B complex to intake with thiamine and treonate magnesium? the absorption is better or what..

I found Lisa Frankenstein very smart. It's as interesting take on nonbinary subject as Jennifer's Body was on queer and bisexual topics. Diablo Cody is great in telling these complex subjects in light, interesting ways with a popcultural twist.
@Drift0r3 ай бұрын
Hard disagree. I found Lisa Frankenstein to be a deep as a puddle and lacking in actual horror too. I'm glad you liked it, and I enjoy Jennifer's Body too. However, Lisa Frankenstein was just not for me.

Your horror list this year can’t come sooner. My mom is having surgery and is gonna be laid up for awhile. She’s usually a gym going active person, so she hates that. But she loves horror movies and is gonna want to watch them

Damnit, now I have to check it out. There have actually been a few ok feminist movies. Lucky is or was on shudder. The woman gets stuck in like a cycle of attack by a faceless man. Of course, if you go too deep, all men are evil, of course, but it's not a bad movie. Revenge was a good, well revenge film that kinda falls into this category as well. Hope ya got some new crazy stuff for the list this yr.

While I’m interested in seeing this movie, this video had some weird speed bumps., specifically at feeling the need to beg your audience to stay because you said “feminist horror film” and that “contemporary movies would probably present satanists as being oppressed”. We’re both from the same state (I know you live in TX, assume you’re from there too) and it sounds like you’re extolling a lot of the more troublesome, Fox News esque dialogs happening there. If you’re impressed with a feminist horror film with layers, no need to qualify it. I’ll say that this video gave me pause a few times because it sounded like taking to my 70 year old parents (who actually love horror films)
@Drift0r3 ай бұрын
Yes, I have been extorting quite a few of those dialogs here. Sadly, it is so common that I have begun to modify my discussions and language to try to miminize knee-jerk reactions in others.
