I adore that movie! I have been a goth since 1997, and last year I discovered The Love Witch, the only movie charecter that inspired me to revamp my style, since 1997. Girl your remake of her style is amazing! ~❤ 🔪 the day he left me was the day that I died, and I was reborn as a witch 🔪❤️~

I just realized the Love Witch was released in 2016 when I was 15 years old and I was there for the theatre release with my first boyfriend! And it was on Halloween Night! This was back when I was 15 and I was into musical theatre, hippie/flowerchild, alternative, and witchy aesthetics HARD😆 and btw I've been apart of a witch community since I was 15. I love this!! My first time watching The Love Witch was last Halloween. When I saw the movie poster I had to do a double take. It looked like it was from the 60s or early 70s but showed 2016 as its release date. They shot the movie on 35 mm film to give it the aesthetic and vibrate look of the 60s. Very smart! I love Elaine’s purple eyeshadow look because it’s subtle and more casual. I might recreate that look for my Halloween boudoir shoot.
