Problem is, lol, that I have to listen to all the safety announcements in Spanish AND English! I rarely fly these days but being bilingual will open up your world. When you speak other people's tongue, they respect you for it.

I find IB Express a bit disappointing, especially the catering is normally quite poor - and all served on plastic dishes. IBERIA mainline is a lot better where the catering is really good and served on real china. I often fly with them from Germany to the Canary Islands via Madrid (IB mainline internationally & and then IB Express from Madrid onward to the Canary Islands).

Take into account that Iberia Express is the low-cost branch of Iberia, therefore catering service with plastic dishes is not the worst thing you could expect. Food was anyway great and tasty, just a little step behind the mainline Iberia but nothing to complain, really.

@@NikiSvaizer @ Yes, I know that IB Express is the so called 'low-cost branch of Iberia' - but their fares/prices are not low at all, they charge the same as they charge for their mainline IB flights. I fly quite often with them in Business Class from Germany to the Canary Islands - and believe it or not: the Business Class fare from Madrid to the Canary Islands on IB Express is even higher than the the thru IB fare from Germany to the Canary Islands. As you can see, there is no low cost for the passenger - it's just low cost for the airline reducing its service and operating costs.
