You never know what life will give you. Leon probably thought for YEARS it might never happen, all the cancelled fights, not being taken seriously, etc. Then when he finally gets the title fight, he gets dominated for almost every minute of it. I bet he probably was questioning his career right before that fifth round started. But because he didn’t give up and in the words of Usman, “fought brand new every round,” he landed one of the most iconic head kicks in history to become the world champion over a guy who was lapping the top guys in the division. His success is a lesson to never give up and always hang in there.

Serves him right.. The Leon “3-piece” was assault, he wasn’t charged because Leon didn’t press charges. He should have known you can’t keep doing that forever and expect to get away with it. Colby wasn’t gonna be so nice about the assault, plus it’s Florida where charges like that are dealt with a little harsher. Jorge really messed himself up.
