For those curious about where I got the number in the thumbnail, here’s the math broken down. Wave 1: 1 / 5 High tide 1 / 32 Seeking Total: 1 / 160 Wave 2: 1 / 32 Tornado Wave 3: 1 / 5 High Tide 1 / 32 Seeking Total: 1 / 160 Grand Total:1 / 819202 (0.0000012207%) I’m fairly confident that this number is accurate, but if someone can prove to me that it’s not please let me know.

If you want to get technical about it, isnt there a chance for those events to happen in any wave (1/32 for every wave=>~1/27000)? So the probability is actually a bit more likely Are there other good waves? Mudmouth?

Not sure if I fully understand the wording, the waves are not all given a 1 / 32 chance in the calculations because the tides in each wave are another factor of rng. So if your question was shouldn't every wave be a 1 / 32 chance, the answer is no, high tide makes goldie waves much easier since there are less geysers to check and eggs will always drop closer to the basket.

Friendly strat for tornado: Form a conveyer line with the weapons with lower DPS closest to the basket and weapons with higher DPS at the shoreline throwing eggs/killing salmon.

If you wanna try super high scores you want to avoid tornado. It like let's you max at maybe 60 where something like mudmouth, seeking, mothership, grillers, and fog can get 60-100 eggs if rng is good and farmed right

You should try mothership, it gives a surprising amount of eggs, also sploosh o matic is very good for salmon

The only downside is if everyone focus on eggs and no one kills mothership, usually only a freelance issue tho and it gets less common as you rank up as most freelance issues do

The luckiest thing in Salmon Run I got went like this; We were about to lose by like 2 eggs then someone, at the very last second, disconnected decreasing the egg count and letting us win. Weird experience. Edit: Okay this was EXTREMELY lucky, but somehow me and a friend got a mudmouth, Goldie seeking, and low-tide mothership round AND beat Horrorboros in that same round, we came out with 104 gold eggs. Absolutely insane by my standards but I'm still a bit of a beginner at Splatoon so idk.

No its true it happens more often than u think. As an overfisher, and someone's whos played nothing but Salmon run (3k hours) it's not really all that exciting to get 3 nightwaves. Sorry bruh.

I'm not talking about just getting all 3 night waves, it was more so the fact that 2 of those 3 night waves were high tide seeking. From what I've seen in the overfishing videos I have watched it seems to be one of the best night configurations for getting eggs. I'd say I've had around 5 all night shifts since this game came out, but considering the night waves I did get I thought it stood out from the rest by a fairly significant margin. (Massive respect for overfishing by the way I want to get into it so badly but I know I need to work on mental stuff and mindset first)
