In this video Professor Lundy discusses her model of child participation. The Lundy Model of Child Participation explains the right of the child to be heard as set forth in Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Space, voice, audience, and influence all together are needed to deliver meaningful child participation. This was the basis of the Lundy Model of Child Participation.
This video came from the 2022 Regional Learning Sessions on Child Participation in the Digital World for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) co-organized by the Child Rights Coalition Asia (CRC Asia) and the United Nations Children’s Fund East Asia and Pacific Regional Office (UNICEF EAPRO) in 2022, particularly on the theme, Child Rights-Based Approach in Engaging and Working with Children in the Digital World.
