I found this lure at the lake, someone left it and i gave it a go. It is crazy how simple it is to use... literaly anyone who never fished before can put this on and get a big bite on it. I fish mostly on soft plastic paddletails "sharks, rosch, perch and snake from westin for topwater lure" but this was deffo new experience i have yet to catch my first fish on it.

Nice vid. I bought this lure after seeing your review. Got myself a 100 suspending type in perch colour. Hope it does well in May when the pike opens. I recommend you use a TNT jerk from Monarch lures or just give it a look.

Monarch Dok is Croatian lure, they are handmade and top quality. I am from Croatia and i'm using them on daily base. Top lures for Pike are: TNT, Hechtkiller and Hechtkiller Grandma. Cheers!

Nice videos man. Seem to enjoy what you do and it's nice seeing some canal work. I fish lakes where I am and the pike you catch seem more athletic! Have you looked into afw wire? 7x7 is like thick mono and safer. My opinion of course but I'm not a fan of fluorocarbon trace unless you're on 80lb plus. Like someone else mentioned below, you should try some svartzonker stuff, though I think there's limited stock in the UK. There is a decent supplier I use so could point you if you're interested. Some of the pig shads are amazing too from Kanalgratis. Keep doing what you're doing, though leave the punch to Jon B 😉 haha

oh and to stop jerks tangling up use a more stiff leader like titanium or those solid steel jerk leaders

They have sharp hooks but they are of an awfully low quality so anyone reading this: REPLACE immediately or risk loosing a fish. First time you get stuck on slmething they will break altough not using super strong tackle 46-60lb.

People need to get out the dark ages with there comments about Fluro carbon leaders. I've used them for many different fish Barracuda and Spanish mackerel also Snakehead to name a few and never had a snap off. Fluro will catch you more fish in my opinion and so long as you use the correct breaking strain for the species your fishing it won't break. I lived in Australia for two years and now in Hong Kong and if anyone saw you fishing with a wire trace they would laugh.

re fluorocarbon - even after reading / hearing that to not use a wire trace is tantamount to treason, I too believe that 20lb plus fc can land big pike, and yes, it doesn't have the cheese wire like cutting action that wire has. I've been successfully using ready made fc traces which have have a similar breaking strain to some wire versions. I've never had one bitten through. If I were a fish, I'd rather have fc in my mouth any day of the week.
