Great video and a cracking bass. I agree about the value of notes, I use a spreadsheet with columns for all the different aspects of each session including tides, weather, sea state, lures that caught, etc. The benefit is how visual it is to quickly compare sessions or search for similar conditions and what worked then, etc.

Really really important about the moon phase and tides and how they impact the fishing... I think a lot of anglers forget about that and just think about the tides.. I know I'm guilty of it just because of the excitement of getting a lure in the water but it just shows how paying attention to the details really makes a big difference... Nice. I also keep a diary on my computer on spreadsheets going back to 2012 . I always check the moon phase each session and new moons are also my favorite times. Last week I was out for three consecutive nights and nailed 10 bass biggest 60cm . I like your videos, very informative and you explain things very well . Keep them coming.
