I appreciate this Dane who actually showed all the sides of Nigeria. Very fair and seems like a nice guy. Unlike the other dude from New Zealand whose coverage of Nigeria was extremely skewed.

@Praise Tamunotonye You mean so called minority as a consequence of the uninvited and forced amalgamation of 1915? I’m from the so called south south and has never and will never see myself as a minority because the colonialist and Nigeria says so. We were certainly not minorities in our own land before we were forced together with other tribes.

Tayo you fall my hand ooh! First off, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa are NOT tribes, but are ethnic groups!! As a “Yoruba Boy” himself, Tayo ought to know that the Yoruba are an ethnic group consisting of “Tribes” such as Egba, Ijebu, Awori, Ekiti, Oworo, Igbomina and much more … Second of all , Nigeria has 250 different ethnicities ( NOT 3) speaking up to 400 different languages!!! So Tayo don’t be misinforming on KZbin abeg!!!

Lagos is really actually the smallest state in Nigeria. It is only 4800km, if you take away the water it is even smaller. Traffic and the population makes it seem larger or longer than it actually is.

3 Tribes in Nigeria? Really? Which of the 3 tribes is your former president Goodluck Jonathan from? Which of the 3 is Burna Boy from? Which of the 3 is the current president Muhammad Buhari from? •There are over 200 tribes in Nigeria •Goodluck Jonathan is ijaw •Muhammad Buhari is Fulani When Tayo said there are 3 tribes I know he was referring to Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo in reality we have •Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Fulani, Tiv, Ijaw, Nupe, igala, Efik, Ibibio, Anang, Gbagi and many many more

You assumed "MAIN" out of no where listen again slowly and closely, reduce the speed if you have to and use a headset 8:27 he never said main. After confirming this come back and apologize.

@@Metasebiya4 The actual number of tribes in Nigeria is 371. One of the interesting tribes I've been learning about lately are the Pan people of Plateau state, Nigeria. I find them interesting because their names sound very similar with similar spellings to Chinese names and South Sudanese names they are located mainly in Qua'an Pan which is a Local Government Area in Plateau State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Baap (or Ba'ap). Other interesting tribes include the Bini people of Edo state, you may have heard of their really long wall which according to Guinness book of world records was the longest man made earth works wall structure. They are the ones from whom the Bini bronzes were stolen from, they defeated the British and the British came back even harder, the city was explored and written about by a certain Portuguese explorer I can't remember his name right now but he only had praises for Bini city. It is also from Benin city the Benin Republic got its name I think. You should definitely search for info about this group you'd be intrigued. Other interesting groups are the ijaw, Kalabari which I am a part of, Nupe, You should read about Nok terracotta and more. Beware unsolicited RANT ahead: Basically there is far much more than just Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba I wish Nigeria and the world realised that. Over emphasis on just these three is responsible for tribalism. I suggest we either hype all (acknowledge and emphasis all but chose to do more to work together) or abandon all entirely (remove any space for tribes and Nigerianise everything. So rather than Yoruba food or Tiv dressing it'd be Nigerian food and Nigerian dressing regardless of which specific tribe it is from . Hyping 3 over everyone else causes problems. Example:Igbos saying they have not been president meanwhile 367 other tribes have also never produced a Nigerian president. And it is understandable because nigeria has only been independent for about 60 years and only since 1999 have Nigeria had real democracy which has produced only 4 presidents so no way on earth would every tribe produce a president when we've only had 4 presidents. It's almost the same thing in your country too. Breaking up African countries into small tribal factions will lead to more peaceful states but less economically attractive, less powerful individual countries imagine breaking Nigeria into 371 countries or even 6 countries, All breakaways will be less relevant, less powerful as Nigeria. So we as Africans should learn to embrace our difference or ignore (do away with) them entirely

@@timmymannies6888 Ukraine is in a panic because Russian soldiers are now bombing Ukrainian civilian targets such as apartment buildings just to scare the population into surrendering. Ukraine is trying to push European students back into their countries quickly cause almost all European nations are Ukrainian allies and if Ukraine doesn't protect them, Ukraine will lose support. India is an ally of Russia. It is a horrible thing still though.

I understand that there are going to be not so developed parts of any city, but Makoko is the PITS!!! It has no reason to exist! So even though I didn't vote for them, I am hoping the president elect and the state governor who has just secured a second term can eradicate and limit squalid slums in Lagos!

But why can’t the Lagos state house of Assembly and the governor’s office of Lagos do something about Makoko??? What’s the point of Makoko anyway??? It is nothing but an Achilles heel for Lagos and Nigeria !! They should conquer the slums once and for all ! All this “ Eko o ni baaje” and Lagos is the 5th largest economy in Africa ring hollow with Makoko and Ajegunle still in existence!!!! It’s time to change the narrative once and for all! Otherwise the foreign and western media will always gravitate towards the slums to represent it to their world!
