What dry sump system is used on the luxury prerunner trucks and where is the AC condenser mounted? Those are some bad ass rigs!

Are there any concerns with galvanic or bi-metallic corrosion between the aluminum and stainless steel?

Didn't you ask this on every other episode? I coulda swore i answered but i am not worried about it

Spindle upper uniball horizontal vs vertical. I noticed your regular LT kits mostly have a horizontal uniball and the j arm center mount has a vertical uniball. For the center mount, is it just a packaging thing for making things easier having it vertical
@Kibbetech2 жыл бұрын
packaging and preference, there's no rules to this stuff

Id really enjoy going back in time to meet whoever came up with the phrase "Bobs ur uncle". That man/woman PARTIES. Simply tear along the dotted line, remove prophylactic from package, apply apparatus to whatever is being prepared for insertion and, Bob's your uncle..ah yes...im having a marvelous evening.

Weird question, back in like 05 there was a guy with a billet linked Toyota I would see in Simi and TO any idea who that was?

JMR MFG built that. He had a shop next to my dad's sheet metal shop. Saw it being built. He was doing billet arms and stuff 25 years ago
@TheSrwaxalot2 жыл бұрын
@@Kibbetech if that's the same JMR I'm thinking of I thought they only built tools. After seeing it I tried for months to get my boss to let me use the big fadal to make my own. Thanks for the reply.
@Kibbetech2 жыл бұрын
@@TheSrwaxalot yep JMR makes tools JMR stand for Jim Mckenzie Racing. He built a lot of cool stuff back in the day and a lot of it was billet

Wouldn't the cost of cutting the outside profile of these A arms on a big ass waterjet be worth it? This way you could nest the shapes together and save a lot of material and machining time I imagine... Loving the videos, you guys are a big inspiration for me. Cheers from Brazil!
@Kibbetech2 жыл бұрын
Not worth it, waterjet time would be the same as machine time and would jsut add another expensive tool

Even if I were filthy rich I would not have you build a proprietary almost all hardware vehicle for me. Heaven forbid yeah in the middle of the boonies and something breaks or false off and you can't replace the piece or part screw that
@Kibbetech2 жыл бұрын
You must have never had a nice offroad truck or something built because there is nothing about these that is universal. Every unlimited race truck or high end prerunner is NOT built from off the shelf parts. That is also what makes these things special. Now the bolts we use, yes off the shelf aircraft hardware. But from your comment ive gathered you don't even know what you're looking at and can't even appreciate it 🤷♂
