I think you can look it at the angle that this is single person with each member represented different aspects of themself. At the beginning we have Wonyoung looking at the mirror with Rei as reflection then Leeseo in front of multiple angled mirror with different member in each. After that scene in the stair with different person wearing almost similar look with slight differences to symbolize personalities of the same person. Either way which aspect there's always something wrong in the eyes of other people because they believe your personalities is what they think, so IVE say either way i'm good, you're good, and we're good so let's smile at them because it's not about right or wrong all of them is me. Very beautiful and touching song.

I think the line "soft heart..." is a translation error, kind of a soft miss. The Korean word alliteral meaning is weak heart, or somebody who is vulnerable, to contrast with a carefree appearance...
