AI has always been able to outclass "pros" in any game, it just isn't implemented as such bc that would be unfair but you still have some examples of it from old like Rugal being the best example, hell even MK and Killer Instinct at max difficulty were hell for most even though you could see the AI was not being used to it's fullest. Nowadays you even have examples like Elden Ring where most bosses cheat and the instant you try to heal by pressing the flask they're also already attacking and this is ancient AI, which actually outperforms current AI for specific tasks as this AI is specific for the task. Main problem is ppl calling current "AI", AI, it isn't actual artificial intelligence but just trained models which are not the same at all and why there's this general AI race aka AGI
