The M1128 Isn’t Bad; You Might Be - War Thunder

i was thinking in buying the wolfpack because i wanted to grind out the us tech and my friend got the challenger ds(10.3) should i get it when the sales come around or should i buy the m1 kvt (im level 22 but im pretty good at the game but i havent played top tier before)

@@crushergt1560 The M1 KVT is much more versatile, and honestly just a better tank. Wheeled like tanks like the M1128 tend to struggle on close range maps, but do well on long range ones, but MBTs like the Abrams do well on both types of maps. The M1 KVT is a better pick if you’re only going to buy one, but picking up both during a sale isn’t a bad option either, and you’d have a small lineup. Also, level 22 is a bit low for top tier. I don’t wanna discourage you or anything, but there will be a steep learning curve. High tier is nothing like low tier. Have a great day!

@@jspene ive seen a lot of mixed views of the kvt with people saying the armour and gun arent very good for its br and others saying it is very good with mobility. i would prefer to get the kvt as its a pack vehicle with ge and premium time but 11.3 uptiers wouldnt be very fun with the 105mm gun against top top tier russian and german mbts thanks and have a great day too

@@crushergt1560 the M1 is a very good tank, yes the round is weaker than others at the battle rating, but it also has one of the fastest reloading times as well. It is also one of the best armored MBTs at 10.3 outside of the Russian tech tree, but don’t rely on the armor in an uptier or against opponents with powerful guns. The mobility is also unmatched, it’s the fastest MBT at the BR and faster than even some light tanks. Just make sure you learn where to shoot various vehicles with M774 and you’ll be okay, and also spend 1,000 of the GE you get from the pack on crew skill for the Abrams so you can get the 5.3 second reload (you will also need to purchase an expert crew for SL)

Gaijin strategy at shoving urban maps down our throats, -to battle cheating apparently- to make cheating less obvious, makes wheeled tanks like this a very bad choice. you are fast and good at flanking but will not get you anything but more trouble. You can play it on open large maps with hills, but those maps are rare to get. You will have a negative KD most likely.
