There has been a BFTV, two BFS, and a vlog that Mabel made (which is great). From that information, we can gather that BFT spent most of this trip being filmed, rarely having off-camera moments. The night sky is vast, enormous, and inescapable. The camera being reflected in the night sky can therefore be seen as a metaphor for BFT being unable to escape the camera during this trip. On the Colorado trip, escaping the camera was like trying to escape the sky: it was impossible. The camera is always on the stars, never leaving them alone and always recording. Thank you BFT for the amazing writing that keeps us thinking.

Will, hon, I can't imagine the amount of pressure you must've felt when Mabel came on. Even if it was mentioned to you ahead of time, I can't fathom how you would be able to juggle wanting to actually connect and also 'do your job' by being funny and acting extra awkward and have zero rizz. It was funny, sure, and it was also a recipe for failure. To get a little pretentious, it wasn't like a European clown act where the audience and the clown enjoy in how the clown stumbles but always gets the job done in their own way, it was an American clown act where it's just schadenfraude and enjoying seeing someone fail and suffer. I love BFT and I'm sure there was no harm meant, but I just wanted to voice my solidarity. And keep on truckin'. I got nowhere on Tinder for a year and a half, and then by changing my attitude and only swiping on the people l actually liked and making my profile unashamedly me, it weeded out the fencesitters and I had a lovely relationship, sadly over now, but it is possible to do.
