Yuppers & that's exactly happened to me on this Chevy Silverado Transmission Bracket several months ago. It was in an awkward spot where there was no room to swing a hammer and I ended up making matters worse. Eventually I got it out, but it was a nightmare to say the least. The other torx fastener gave me little trouble. I had made the joke 50% of the time works every time. Overall it's a great product, but there are just some situations that your going to be scratching your head. RBRT are still better then most any other product out there. So long as you have the room to seat the bit into the fastener. Cheers & many thanks Dan.

It’s a great product. I remember when you sold them to me at the tool 1.5 years ago in outside of Toronto thanks. Haven’t used any other bit since that day. Even have the torque bit set

Its awesome you used a motorcycle engine for your demo. I'm a powersports tech and i have snap-on hex and a couple other brands. I encounter hex daily and nothing even comes close to the rbrt sockets. They are a must imo and I plan on purchasing the entire rbrt line. Anybody on the fence go for it you wont be disappointed.

I have had issues with my smaller size hex sockets stripping both the sockets and the fasteners I cleaned out the fastener and used a hammer to seat it in I had to them use a set of vice grips to remove the fastener. It has happened with my 4mm and 1/8 and 5/32 twice had to warranty out the sockets what could I be doing wrong?
@dantherbrtguy65713 жыл бұрын
Certainly there are many variables from one fastener to another. From what kind of condition is the fastener, rust corrosion, stripped or rounded over, to size of fastener how impossibly tight some of them are, especially with encapsulated Hex and Torx fasteners. Without actually being in your presence when these situations have happened all I can do is speculate on why you have had some of these results. Apologies for having issues. If you would like to have a more detailed discussion my email is danrbrtguyagmail.com please feel free to reach out, thank you AgTech 45, appreciated!

I’m gonna grab those as I get my Mac bill down, I want the hex for sure (what I use most), then I’ll get the torx. Don’t have much need for extractors, but I won’t those for the “uh oh” moments. Can’t remember where, probably not reliable, but I heard they’re working on RBRT screwdrivers. Any truth in that?
@dantherbrtguy65713 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment jake! You won’t regret your RBRT Hex purchase, they are truly game changers. As for your question, although I am not at liberty to comment on what we may or may not have in the works, we did just release our new T-Handles in both Hex and Torx and I would take a T-Handle over a screwdriver almost every time! Thanks again, and keep an eye out for the next video, it’s a fun one!

Hi Dustin, thanks for checking in, I am not one to argue with people on what I am presenting. What I simply try to do is show you to the best of my ability the truth of what I'm saying. if you fast forward to time stamp 1:31 you can clearly see the shiney metal that was moved around in the cavity of that plug. The conventional Hex tool did absolutley round over in the plug, and was not going to remove it. That plug was tight, and you can hear the SNAP when it let loose. Please keep watching, there are more videos coming, and I would like to hear from you again, Thanks.
