Not really if you compare his performance to kivutha kibana or oparanya he is a non starter. He is better at PR than any of the mentioned governors but his performance is abysmal compared to them.

Level 5 machakos does not match up to the new Kakamega County referral facility. In agriculture he is all talk and nothing to show unlike kivutha kibwana.

From your comment I can tell you have never been past Nakuru, or probably your village. The only thing helping machakos is the proximity to Nairobi hence a lot of the infrastructure is done by the National government. Apparently unfinished factories, poorly done roads and fairy tales amuse you!! sycophancy is a disease.

What I am saying is you do not know what the word means, you found it and thought "Hey here is a hammer, I have never used before" so everything becomes a nail in your mind. Here is a small list of Kakamega county projects, te me if there is any of it's kind in Machakos undertaken by the county government i) Bukhungu stadium (in phase 2) : On completion will have a capacity of thirty thousand and looks far much more modern than what mutua built in Machakos ii) New kakamega Referral hospital (1000 beds on completion). iii) Old Kakamega county referral hospital (Level 5), far much better equipped than machakos level 5. iv) Before universal healthcare by the National government, Kakamega had Oparanya care. v) Mutua hoping to attract investors to build a city since 2014, a city is currently under construction in Kakamega (Mwale medical and technology city). vi) Kakamega county about to accomplish their goal of 200 km tarmacked county roads. As I said the only thing helping machakos is the proximity to Nairobi, nothing else. This means the national government will do a lot of the infrastructure.

In Comparison to Oparanya (Kakamega) and Kivutha Kibwana this guy is all PR and no action. During 2 terms of Oparanya with only county funds and no help from national government Kakamega is building a 900 bed capacity hospital that will employ upto 4000 workers once complete, It is now in phase 2 of bukhungu stadium upgrade, He is building a dairy processing factory and a maize milling factory , the county roads are well maintained and in some villages tarmacked very nicely and he is about to complete his 200 km county tarmacked roads vision. The vision will see all sub counties in Kakamega connected by tarmacked roads.
