I have ALWAYS said that about Max Julien as well. As a matter of fact the OLDER he got the MORE APPARENT it became. If anyone disagrees, then just look at his Native American features. Many African Americans are mixed with Native American ancestry. I still have a book that I purchased in the 90's titled "BLACK INDIANS" written by William Loren Katz who explained the relationship between the two groups. I have Cherokee ancestry in my family and I can still see the features of Native Americans in many of my African American family members. Most groups of Native Americans refuse to acknowledge this and years ago on the news I saw a tribe who wanted to cut all ties with their African American brothers and sisters. I cannot remember which tribe though. RIP Max Julien.

The story of Goldie is about my friend Fahali Wards daddy Frank Ward and his brother Tony Ward from Louisiana who migrated to Oakland in the 50's and grew to be the biggest gangster in Oakland. Unfortunately my friend daddy didn't see his movie made because Fahali's daddy Frank was murdered right before the movie The Mack premiered in February 1973, he died at the young age of 33 years old. The question is who murdered my friends father Frank Ward ? Well word on the streets in the early 70's it was allegedly the Black Panthers!!!! Yes, Huey Newton and Bobby Seals are possibly responsible for my friends father death!!! I watched this movie being made as a child in Oakland and I watched my friend Fahali Ward sad everyday not knowing his daddy Frank, but Frank left his son a 1972 silver and grey Rose Royce I used to look at almost everyday. There is more evidence that point to the Black Panthers pertaining Frank Wards death but you'll have to wait until my book comes out about the city of Oakland. I will be talking about the Black migrants who left the south after World War II to become long shore men in Oakland to the introduction of Lesane Crooks aka Tupac Shakur!!!
