@@Danisnotonfore It wasn't selling out and made a very low profit-it was grossing around $550k/week (for reference Wicked has grossed nearly $3 mil in a week). I think if the book was reworked, a revival would do very well on broadway right now.

I will admit that the first time I listened to this cd I wasn't sure about the show, but the more times I listened to it the more I loved it! I am particularly fond of Shindle's parts. She is AWESOME as the Hatter. I would love to see this show, I think seeing it would fill in some of the gaps left by the cd.

It's the same song with other lyrics! It (The Mad Hatter) is on the "Bonnie, Clyde and a Whole Lotta Jazz" LIVE album. This song features Frank Wildhorn, Adrienne Warren and Emmy Raver-Lampman. I think this version of the song is just horrible (even if Kate Shindle is amazing). The other song on the Live album "Bonnie, Clyde and a whole lotta jazz" sounds so much better and the lyrics are much more natural. Also I think it's a but of a taste thing, I don't know why but I adore the songs he produced for "Bonnie and Clyde" and "The Count of Monte Cristo".
