It helps that Bombay, Madras, Calcutta and to an extent Delhi take themselves (in totality) seriously, and this respect for self somehow lends itself to effortlessly romanticizing these cities in popular media; feature films, documentaries, novels, books etc. The quintessential "BIG EMOTION" places. Is it an obvious extension of people inhabiting these geographies? Try doing this with either a highly self-deprecating Bangalore, or a light-teesko-mama Hyderabad, the efforts somehow fall flat on their faces. Well, at least so far! :) PS: nice little video, i thought it'd turn out tacky. good, clean, crisp, sharp visuals.
