What I took away from this but didn't hear you quite say the words is that there is no such thing as enlightenment as an answer. Instead seeking enlightenment means you are looking for a process and methodology to find answers and solutions to the emotional and moral situations we constantly find ourselves in every day that there is no single answer for that can apply universally where a process and methodology will give you the tools to find the answers you need to live a life you enjoy

That is exactly what I was saying. To me, at least, enlightenment is a state of mind, not a state of being. That is why a Buddha has a peaceful and a wrathful face. I like the terms spiritual and magical technology. That is what we are learning on the way. Just because we understand or have built the technology of enlightenment, doesn't mean that we are using it every day.
