wie fernen Donners Widerhall!

Nun sind sie in des Tempels Hallen.

Dort wollen wir sie überfallen,
die Frömmler tilgen von der Erd
mit Feuersglut und mächtgem Schwert!
MONOSTATOS und DAMEN (kniend)
Dir, große Königin der Nacht,
sei unsrer Rache Opfer gebracht!
(Donner, Blitz, Sturm)
ALLE
Zerschmettert, zernichtet ist unsere Macht,
wir alle gestürzet in ewige Nacht!
(versinken)
(Sogleich verwandelt sich das ganze Theater in
eine Sonne. Sarastro steht erhöht; Tamino,
Pamina, beide in priesterlicher Kleidung. Neben
ihnen die ägyptischen Priester auf beiden Seiten.
Die drei Knaben halten Blumen.)

Die Strahlen der Sonne
vertreiben die Nacht,
zernichten der Heuchler
erschlichene Macht!
CHOR
Heil sei euch Geweihten!
Ihr dränget durch Nacht!
Dank! sei dir Osiris!
Dank! dir Isis gebracht!
Es siegte die Stärke

die Schönheit und Weisheit

I'm preparing two roles for my university's production of Magic Flute (First Lady and cover for Queen of the Night), and this is the only recording I've yet found where I can really distinctly hear the Three Ladies. Thank you - this is going to be really useful as a reference recording.
