The Magic of Brother Bear - Totem Ceremony (1 of 2)

Part 1 of 2.
"The Magic of Brother Bear - Totem Ceremony" is presented at Disney's Calfornia Adventure theme park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. The show takes place in the Golden State, in Grizzly Peak Recreation Area, in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Show opened the same day as the animated feature film that inspired it on November 1, 2003. This was recorded on April 15, 2007. I believe this show stopped playing around Winter 2009 (Correct me if I'm wrong). The bears still do meet & greets in 2010.
Don't forget to also visit "Kenai's Spirit Cave" located in the Challenge Trail to see what animal spirit you are.

My cousin used to perform in this show. I never got to see her, though, the first time I heard about it was my last day in Disneyland on the last trip I went on there, and I was already inside the Aladdin show

The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail has a variety of things to do, a few of which have a height requirement, but most things don't, such as The Magic of Brother Bear. You can meet Koda and Kenai there after the show or even on days there is no show. You can also meet them at the Chip 'n Dale Breakfast at Storytellers Cafe in The Grand Californian.

According to the offical website, the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail has a height requirement of 42" (106 cm) or taller. The Totem Ceremony show doesn't have a height requirement. But on the Disneyland website, they have a video of children playing with instruments. That would be a neat plus for the current show. Unless that was in the original format and they later took that out...

Hmmm, I was under the impression that this entire enclosed area was bound by a height requirement. Maybe I was thinking about the playground part.

Like I put in the video description, this show opened on Nov. 1, 2003 along with the film's opening date. Disney let it open on a Saturday after Halloween Friday. Not exactly sure why they HAD to open on Nov. 1.

As far as JUST the Disneyland Resort in California, I've only seen them in Disney's California Adventure. A height limit to see a show? No, never heard of that one before. Maybe what you heard is referring to the show being more of a children's character-type production.
