Lovely holidays to you ! The chrismas lights and the snow are making the zoo look so cozy and inviting. For the animal interactions, I think it's fine when it's done with the animal wellfare in mind and with domestic animals.The important to me is that it's the animal's choice to have these interactions.

Gorgeous work as always! As for interacting with wild animals, I think there are definitely ethical ways to do it. I'm a patron of Shepreth Zoo, the one Frontier go to for research and inspiration, and they do animal experiences where you can interact with some of their animals. Instead of doing exploitative things like riding them, or say selfies with sedated tigers, you can go in and do things like feeding or training sessions with the staff. It's something the animals are used to and would be experiencing anyway, and they enjoy it! I had Dio, their male capybara, constantly come up to me for belly scratches while we were sat chatting in their enclosure :)

That sounds absolutely amazing!! I agree, it has to be the animals choosing to interact rather than humans forcing them into a scenario where they can be interacted with.

4:10 as someone who works with wild animals, I do believe that people shouldn’t just be allowed to interact with wild animals, animals that have been accustomed to people is fine, but straight up interacting with wild animals is risky, even for those who work with them, I can’t say how intimidating it is, entering a pen alone with wild animals to bring them food and freshen their water and cleaning. But enough about that, excellent work as always Sparrow, and I hope you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Lovely build, also regarding the animal interactions question you threw at us, in my opinion I always disliked having to feed animals in zoos, this is probably due to the trauma of getting yelled at by a sheep when I was little.
