Love the gray and orange for leaves. Great color combo for a change.

Just got some Sparkle paste. You have answered all the questions I had about using it. Thank you for sharing! Can't wait to play, so glad to see that the mica spray can be wiped away.

You are so welcome! I'm glad it was helpful and enjoy playing with the Sparkle Paste. Just an FYI, none of Tim's inks or sprays will dry on this paste. The only thing that would is paint or any medium that is permanent once dry.

Great tutorial! The backgrounds are so beautiful! I’m saving this video so I can follow along and try the sparkle paste. Unfortunately the wreath die is sold out. 😭 Thanks so much Julianna!

Definitely give it a try! I just checked and the die is still available and it’s free with any order!

I am always at awe of your designs...so beautiful. If you could answer a question for me, I'd be most appreciative! I am working my Halloween cards and doing the background with Distress Oxide Inks. That works beautifully but I want to add the Distress Mica Stains as a bit of spatter for the shine. But, the backgrounds do not dry completely...I can rub the mica off even after days of drying. Am I using the Mica stains wrong?
@JulianaMichaels Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for reaching out. I have a few questions for you. What type of paper are you using with the Mica Stains? Have you used a heat tool to help dry the ink? And do you live in a humid climate? Your answers to any of these might be why you are having this issue. Let me know and we can try to get this sorted out for you!

Thank you, Julian, for getting back with me. I am using heavyweight Neenah cardstock and I see here you use distressed watercolor so I am experimenting again today with just watercolor stock...I do not have distress. I'll let you know if my results are better. It's not like it rubs completely off on the cardstock but I do get residue on my hands if I handle them. I did heat set them and even after three days of drying, I can still get a slight residue on my fingers.@@JulianaMichaels

I'm guessing the type of paper may be the issue. Hopefully you had better luck with the watercolor paper. I'd love to know how it worked out for you.
