I recently heard the loop peadal described as 'the desert island pedal' basically saying it's the only pedal you'd need on a desert island! I have to agree. Since getting my Boss RC-1 my playing and understanding of what notes go together and where has exploded making me such a better player than I ever dreamed I could be. Loopers are, without doubt, the best invention for releasing your creativity as there are literally no boundaries to what you can achieve! Long Live The Looper!

I started playing about 15 years ago, no lessons and taught myself the basic open chords, was playing simply those on and off for ages. I decided in 2019 to actually learn how to play (This channel helped a lot) but things were slow to start off with, until I bought a looper. Everything started to make sense with it and the fact you can build layer after layer is, as you say, captivating and gives a sense of real progress

About five years ago, one of your videos was my very first introduction to guitar looping. I bought a simple loop pedal the next day. It made me want to play and experiment more than anything I’d encountered in many years. Five years later, the pedal has been upgraded a few times, and looping is now about half of my set. Thank you Paul.

??? Hi Paul! If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get your guitar strap? It’s hard to see the pattern but it looks like my mom may have designed it, likely to be a tie or belt. My mom worked for two different design studios as a textile designer in the 70’s and early 80’s. She graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and specialized in painting tight hand designs like paisleys, florals, abstract geometric designs, etc. I’d love to see your strap up close. Anyway, I can’t see every detail, but I’m fairly certain your strap has her design. I’m always able to tell what my mom made from her brushstrokes and reusing pieces of patterns from other designs (and for some designs, I even have the original concept artwork from her portfolio). She didn’t own the rights to her work since she worked for studios (she preferred it that way), but when my family sees something that she made on clothing and home goods, we like to buy and display them if we can afford them because it reminds us of her artistic passion and is a nice way to remember her. While she was alive (she passed away in 2018 at 65 from a rare neuroendocrine cancer), she was thrilled to see her work on a $2500 designer handbag she’d never be able to afford - talk about a complement! Tomo Fujita has pillows on his couch that my mom likely designed too, but I also couldn’t see the fine details. I don’t think he saw the post where I asked where he got them. I’d love those pillows on my couch. Anyway, it would be awesome to have a guitar strap with my mom’s design. It would mean a lot to me. I doubt I can even afford it if it’s on one of your guitars, but figured I’d ask you just in case it’s not as expensive as I think (or if someone wants to buy me a nice present lol). Thanks, Paul!

I am currently working through the class - really enjoying it! The materials and videos are really well done. I’ve been using my simple little looper (TC Electronics Ditto) as more of a practice tool - play a rhythm track and jam. This is WAY more subtle and interesting- layering many levels of sound so that it all works together. An object lesson in how less is often more when it comes to what to play on a particular loop. Also massively good practice to hone rhythm and develop groove.

I purchased Loop School as soon as Paul released it - well worth the money. I knew it would have the quality of Acoustic Adventure and wasn't disappointed. Paul's content (as most of you know from watching these KZbin videos) is very easy to follow and builds (so will your skills). So happy with the purchase.
