The Magic of the Seven Rila Lakes-Bulgaria

Hi guys!
You are more than welcome to join me on this epic hike to the Seven Rila lakes. This is a group of glacial lakes, situated in the northwestern part of the Rila Mountain, at an altitude between 2,100 and 2,500 meters above sea level.
The hike to the Rila Lakes is of moderate difficulty but it depends on your fitness level. I found it to be easy at first and the climbing the last hill to the summit was a bit tough, but as you will see in the video the views are worth every effort.
The entire hike is approximately 5 hours. You need a good pair of hiking shoes and make sure you have a warm jacket with you because the elevation is high, and it can get cold. You can bring with you some food. I personally prefer to hike on an empty stomach but if you need to have some food better bring something with you because the coffee shop at the chalet is very expensive and there is nothing much in it.
Each lake carries a name associated with its most characteristic feature - the highest is called The Tear (Sulzata), then we have The Eye (Okoto), The Kidney (Bubreka), The Twin (Bliznaka), The Trefoil (Trilistnika), The Fish Lake (Ribnoto Ezero), and the lowest lake is The Lower Lake (Dolnoto Ezero).
The lakes are situated above one another and are connected by streams, which form tiny waterfalls and cascades. There are several chalets where you can spend the night if you wish.

Another interesting place to visit at the Rila Mountain is the Rila Monastery. Some Travel Agencies offer the trip to the monastery and the lakes in one day, but I do not advise you to do this because you need 4-5 hours to explore the lakes ... the same applies to the monastery.
