All the heroes were excellent, bearing the most remarkable features of the and era the people involved. Watched so many movies with my husband. I adored Yul Brynner in the King and I. Charles Bronson was a favorite of ours, Sure wished I could turn time back. My husband was still alive then. When I see one of those old movies being played, I watch them over and over again. Hollywood brought us some great movies. I remember them all, but for the life of me, I can't remember the names of actors playing now. Guess they don't leave a impressing on me. Every time a movie with John Wayne came on, I had no choice but to watch it, no matter how many times I seen it. My husband was a big fan of him. He never got tired of watching his movies over and over again. Always pretended how much I liked his movies. But I got really tired of watching those same movies again and again, just to please my husband. Sure miss all those actors. They were all great. The reason they all dead now, is because of Eve. She just had to eat that apple.Even in those days, a women had the power to seduce her man. And what did he do? He blamed her. Typical man.

The music was incredible. I think that that was the real reason for the success of The Magnificent Seven. I like all of the actors especially Charles Bronson and Yul Brynner. I have a Brynner story. He came to watch a movie in Toronto, Canada, during the winter. An usher who was working the line of ticket holders, recognized him and told him that he didn't need to wait in line, that he was more than welcome to come into the lobby of the University theatre, where it was warm and dry. Yul Brynner thanked the usher and said: "If all these people have to wait outside then, so will I." He was an amazing character, in real life, not jus on the big screen.

Thank you for bringing this to us as it gave us some very good details about them we would not have known.

This film was probably the biggest movie for the whole generation of boys in Georgia (then the part of USSR). My friends, about 10 year old kids, were so mesmerized by all 7 heroes, that we divided the heroes names among us - I remember Nugzar was the Chris (he later trained Georgian baseball team), Nukri, my brother, was Vin (it was his favorite character for life), I had a knife throwing duel-contest (wooden knives) with Shota, for being a cool Brit (I wan!), but frankly, my biggest hero in that movie was and still is Bernardo, kid-loving tough guy, who is remembered by his friend kids (later, already in Australia, I learned about Bronson's other movies, or how Russian singer Vysotskiy wanted to meet him in Hollywood...). When this film was in Georgian theatres, getting ticket was physically very demanding (losing buttons in the queue was inevitable)... All these years later I still think that this film was probably the best film I ever saw... And music, oh my god, music was so good!!! (I am musician). In short, this was the movie of my life... Thank you for reminding me my passion for this movie!

I remember seeing Steve McQueen in his early days, maybe his first film, "The Blob" he clearly was so much better than the other actors. He was in "The Towering Inferno" in 1974 along with Paul Newman, loved that film, saw it once in the cinema with my Mum then went back at least 4 times to watch the film on my own....had to make myself look older though as it was an AA rating and I think I was about 14 😁 (59 now 😮)

Disagree, true the Yul Bryner film was outstanding and a classic without question, however it was a remake of another classic as mentioned before, The Seven Samurai. This was and also is a classic. The new one with Denzel Washington in my opinion was a very good movie. All three movies were a remake of each other in spirit, but had a different twist, this is what made them very good. If you look at each as a stand alone movie instead of looking at them as a remake, then the comparisons will be different. Of course this is only my opinion and I totally respect yours as well. True grit with John Wayne is a great movie, however the remake with Jeff bridges, again my opinion, was not very good since they truly tried to match it.

Helloo! Fascinating faces all of them, Eli Wallace stands out with his speciality , his smile. I sculpt portraits in clay so I am always looking at faces. I will remember Eli's eyes and their corners, and the broad smile with a rather small mouth opening. I wonder if this smile is taken from a film?

I actually liked Robert Vaughn in that movie. I used to follow him on the Man from Uncle.

ELI Wallach was the top notch actor he was the best of the best but never accomplished the stardom other actors of his caliber did. He was a very powerful actor who was highly underrated. In the Good Bad & Ugly almost in every scene that power came through where you were so captivated by his character you for a minute forgot about Clint & Lee.

Yul Brynner, the epitome of coolness, e.g. in "Westworld" as an android, an out-of-control gunman. R.I.P. Sir! 👍👍👍🌼🌹🌻

Eli Wallach was a chameleon! He could play a Jewish, Russian, Mexican or an Italian character. He was very believable in all his roles! The consummate actor. Outside the main characters, he dominated every scene he was in!
