You really get a feeling of the full majesty of Clifford Brown's playing is still being carried on here whilst he sadly left us before his time. The well handled upper register sounds beautiful with a drama and intensity from not appearing too easy to get up there.

Thad Jones was a great player of instruments in the trumpet family. This is a very good album. Thanks for uploading at least a part of it.

There are this album, "The Magnificent Thad Jones", and "The Magnificent Thad Jones, volume 3". Do you know why there is no "The Magnificent Thad Jones, volume 2"?
