My takeaway from this video is that somebody should start a business making trainers for the most common and popular fixed blades. An aluminum blank shaped to a knife shouldnt be more than $50. I understand the concept of this knife but there are plenty of other fixed blade combative knives that have trainers available for a fraction. Good information as always Ivan.

I'll take the lesser 1095 Crovan thats been poking holes in people for 70+ years and save $450. I like the overall design, but 20CV steel is not necessary for a close range defensive only blade and that steel is contributing to the high cost. There are many excellent knives that are cost effective with good steel and sheath that you can buy. I would buy 2 knives and round the blade making one my trainer. You can buy 2 Moras for cheap or 2 ESEE 4 or 2 Cold Steel Master hunters for less than half the price.
