This again was an interesting movie with parents who loved status and encouraged their son to deny his wrong of sleeping with the maiden. His mother was such a evil and wick person. The ending was not quite what I expected. There should be a second part to show what happens to the maiden and her son. These African traditions are terrible against the lives of their people. Everyone should be free to marry whom ever they want because of love. This is my opinion about the culture. I am an African American woman and know we have the wealthy doing the same here. It’s so unfortunate that as human we should love one another and help each other. The actors, Van Vickers and all other actors gave a good performance. Lots of good life lessons in this movie.
