Right lads where do I start . 9656 birds away today so the most for a good while in a yb national . We are 1-3 fed 1-3 section And I currently have us 4th-6th UNC which could change . Well what more can we do as the 3 birds who beat us in the combine are right at the front of the combine flying around 35 miles less so that wind changing on route I think has cost us big time . As I say in the title I couldn’t be prouder of the birds today after the fortnight we have had and all we can ever do is win our area which we have done .

Thanks so much mate , it’s not an easy thing to do when things aren’t going great but we have full belief in the ability of the birds so we know if we do our bit right they will reward us , thanks for the great post and just to let u know we have 2 comeback races which we plan to race , no stress now as the pressure is off but we still have section points to race for so the plan is to keep a good few going for these last 2 races 👍

As I’ve said before mate it’s comments like this that make it all worthwhile , I don’t think any channel gives a race day experience like we try to , the stress the worry the excitement and sometimes the joy . Morning Martin and Richie just to congratulate you on your performance of your birds yesterday class will out i’m old enough to remember Ali Brothers winning in the 80s haven’t raced since the early naughties. The book never goes away still get the papers and get down to the allotments to watch the birds come antibiotics can’t get rid of this bug As I say in my comments I love videos to get them back right because they weren’t clearing from those couple of chucks to get them back to perform like that is class say no more well done Lads .

How many birds have you lost in the race calendar which never returned,what has been your best year and worst for loses and returns

Il be honest this season there has only been two bad races with the ybs , but there has been a very clear pattern to the birds we have lost , we brung 8 ybs in this year and have lost all 8 of them , the other pattern is new stock that has arrived in the last 2 years a big percentage of the loses have also been them birds . So going into yesterdays race we had lost 14 ybs in total but we are a further 10 short off yesterday so 24 ybs gone , 8 we bought in 10 off new stock so we have lost only 6 of our lines which I think is bloody good going and hopefully we still get a few more back . Hope that all makes sense
