THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT PROPHET (SA) CHOOSEN ALI AS HIS SUCESSOR. NO WAY, NOT AT ALL. After prophet' s wafat aboobaker, ummer usman and ali came in succession. There was no family ruling like king dies, the elder son of king takes charge. Family ( ahlul baith) is different Islam Asa nation is different. Prophet ( sa) never intended to keep any power to own family. Aisha ( ra) the beloved wife of prophet sa is as respected as fathima ra , his beloved daughter. Hassan ra, Hussain ra all are respected. Hussain ra matriryoed in karbala, as the history unveils. The most foolishness of the speaker is at the last part, he enjoys USA traveling to karbala and pray for all of you. There is no tomp to be worshiped. Even rowda shareef, the prophet s tomp, along side his companions aboobaker ra and ummer ra , are not the place of worship or dua. It is only a VISIT and say assalamu alukkym. All prayers are due to Allah, all blessings and salutations are belongs to prophet sa and house hold, his companions. As a Sunni Muslim, this Shia Imam is good a Muslim Iman listening to his speech. We need to hear about Shia Islam from this kind of tolerant Imam because from my past experience the other Shia Imam I heard once upon a time to understand what is really the difference between Sunni and Shia Muslims that first Shia Imam I heard him only attacking the Arabs so I felt that Shia Muslims are Iranians who don't like Arabs that is why they are not Sunni Muslim like majority of the Muslim world. Byway, having listen to this second Shia Imam I still don't understand what is really the difference between Shia and Sunni Muslims considering we both believe in Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him message and we have the same Holy Qur'an as scripture. Sunni Muslim respect the family of the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him and accept Ali as a rightly guided Iman and fourth Caliphate of the Ummah. Other Shia Imam are too political and they should be teaching Holy Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him message to the Ummah in a positive way so both Sunni Muslim and non Muslims can heard a Allah SWT religion with less political tone so all people feel welcomed to listen to a Shia Imam. The Sunni Imams too, need to do better dialogue with Shia community and not treat them like infidels because only Allah SWT knows what is in the heart of mankind.

Bismillah! I am a Muslim brother of one Ummah of Prophet Muhammad pbuh! Distinction of Muslims by sects is forbidden in the Quran 30:32; 42:13-14; 543:64-65; 45:17, 28. So I don't belong to any sect neither Sunni nor Shia. Allahu'akbar! I also don't idolize any name not even Prophet Muhammad pbuh. Astagfirullah! Masha'allah! Neither I mention his name in any part of my prayer. My prayer is exclusive to Allah swt Alone with no one beside him or his partner. Yah Allah, I submit to Your Mighty Will! Allahu'akbar!

Well your sahaba killed the family of the prophet so that’s a big difference don’t you think? You follow the enemies of the prophet who revealed the religion to you? So just say you don’t like the prophet and you only follow his message and then we can talk. But if you say you love the prophet how can you follow the exact sahaba that tortured and killed his blood line? Let me guess you’ll say we made it up? Why would we? Did you ask yourself that? What benefit would I get for claiming this it was 1400 years ago? Maybe one of us researched the entire story and one of us didn’t. Either way we should be able to express our opinions in peace and freedom. You have to ask yourself though does any Shia country or Shia land prohibit Sunni followers or are there Sunni countries that oppress Shia beliefs? I think you can answer that question for yourself.

differences opinion among companions was there even at death of Muhammad (peace be upon him).Umar( r.a) was not in right opinion while Abu Baker (r.a.) was right who said those who worship Allah, Allah dies not but who worship Muhammad (peace be upon him) , he has passed away. Thus truth prevailed. This happened among very closed companions. might have happened many on many issues. Allah knows the best. Some believe companions are so perfect with out any short coming while some may be having animosity to them. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that they were the best generation. It is clear as moon in the sky for who have some knowledge of islamic history that murder of grand sons of Muhammad( peace be upon him) is indicative that every thing was not so smooth. They have passed their life and they are accountable to Allah and we are also accountable to Allah.

A Muslim is one who believes in Allah, their prophet is Muhammad saw, their kitab is Quran. So Sunnis are Muslims, so are the Shias. Whether Saidina Abu Bakar ra or Saidina Ali karamallahu wajha should be the Khalifa is a political issue, NOT a religious belief. After listening to your "Khoutba", I did come up with a couple of points to ask you about and with my all due respect to you - why would Ali (RA) say to you "If you want to be MY FOLLOWERS etc..." Don't be "Sababin". I understand it is an excellent advice; but why would he say that when the Prophet (SAAWS) did not say follow me - Your Prophet (SAAWS); but he said follow the Quran! Furthermore, you did not make any reference to the Sunna - any reason for that? or does it confirm the hear-say that Shia DO NOT Believe in "Sunatu Er Rassoul "(Salla Allahu Aaleyhi wa Salama)? Second, you diverted from the core Islamic concepts and made of Islam, a point of DIVERSION from Islam. Again, Islam is for All humanity and there is no difference between one Muslim or Muslima except in the belief in Allah subhanou.
