I wish filtering was legal in Idaho, US. Traffic is so bad where I live, I'd be much safer. Got hit 2 years ago by some crazy woman and got pretty busted up. I'm always watching my mirrors to who's coming up on me. No matter if people think VStrom mirrors are ugly, they're some of the best available. Love DL650's. Excellent video.

100% agree with you mate, filtering is a saftey mechanisim for riders. Drivers in Australia need to be educated about filtering. Lane splitting in most cases is perfectly safe, depending on speed differentiation between the bike and the cars. You see some idiots lane splitting at ridicules speeds. Its those idiots that give responsible riders a a bad rep.

Nice video mate. I got my license about 6 months ago and have started to filter recently. Was a bit shaky at first but I'm gotten a lot more confident. If its a hot day (not too many in Melbourne) or there are road works I'll try to fit my 390 duke through anything now 😆
