Hi Alisha thanks for your video ll of these uses of “get” are MORE informal than using “receive” or another verb. In the sentence above, we really don’t know what “get” means without more context. It could mean: “I’m going to get some winter clothes out of my closet”. Then we would know it means “take”. Or, it could mean: “I’m going to get some winter clothes at the store.” Then we know it means “buy”. We frequently substitute “get” for more precise verbs. If you are writing emails and letters for work, choose more precise verbs than “get”. Also remember that “gonna” is a very informal combination of “going to”. It’s how “going to” is pronounced in informal speaking, but don’t write “gonna” except in very informal texts. Writing “gonna” instead
