I bought NFS Unbound few days later that it came out on PS5 and i played it few hours and never touched it again, after months they introduced the Undergeound update and i instantly came back playing it and i love it so much that i played the game for almost 700 hours. I just hope this is what happens with Test Drive and that it gets addicting in the future but extremely boring at the beginning

@@LesterCrest1 no offence but unbound is the worst nfs games in my book. Far worse than payback. The updates you are talking about are multiplayer only. No transfer over of garages , a f2p progression system ( win 5 races with a Ferrari to unlock the ability to buy a Ferrari ) , literally none of the added event variety crosses over to the singleplayer , 90 to 95% of the same car list as heat, worst cops ever , with just 15 or so race tracks to race on. Etc etc. Call it a good free to play racing game. As a paid game , I strongly disagree that nfs unbound is any good.

@@LesterCrest1 That game is awful and I felt excluded. You know why? It's because all the updates were going to online mode and I enjoy single player games. So those updates meant nothing to people that were also in single player.

@@dr.sivavignesh664 Well they didn't add most of the MP content to singleplayer because they wanted to keep the singleplayer experience exactly the same whether you played it on launch or 3 years in and honestly that isn't a bad thing, it's actually quite nice to see that they took care to keep the SP experience the same without changing it in major ways through updates. Rest I mostly agree tho.

after Cyberpunk I decided to never pre-order or buy withing the first 1-2 months ever again, I'll wait a couple of months after release and see if the game is any good, if it is I can buy if it isn't I just saved myself some money. The only two developers I trust enough that I would maybe pre-order are Rockstar and Valve because their releases in recent times have all been pretty solid.

Usually this is a few weeks after launch like 4-8 weeks and if the game is still bad I'll leave it for months and check back in like a year later but if it turns out it's good I can buy it early in it's lifespan. I get why you want the pre-order system to die was just mentioning that there still are companies out there that actually deliver on release day.

I really sick of the online only BS , especially for a game that we waited over a decade I was always stick to NFS games because of offline gameplay but ended up buying The crew 2 for the sake of offline mode and boy I hardly had any server disconnect with my WiFi giving out of 40mb download speed

End of life for this game is right now. As excited as I was for this game, I’m more disappointed than I think I have ever been with a game. I hate to say I want a refund but $80+ for a half finished game, no actual exploration and almost no cars that are actually affordable at the beginning of the game, is pitiful. Tdu 2 had more cars at launch, were easily affordable, AND you were able to sell and trade cars in. This game has just been a cash grab for the developers.

Yes you are right about Cyberpunk 2077 having one of the worst launches, although that game wasn't online only and relied on servers. The problems with the game were more to do with graphical and gameplay bugs. This is the whole problem with TDUSC. NO GAME outside of Fortnite and those types of games should be online ONLY. None. Especially a driving game. As for their reason to prevent cheaters (if that was one of them), does anyone ACTUALLY believe that? Developers have used that excuse before, and it had NOTHING to do with it.

Im having more fun with Crew 2 (bought for $1 during the sale), then I did with TD Solar Crown. Crazy, hopefully they can recover like CyberPunk did with all the features they "plan" on working on, like houses.

The only fix I saw was a slight improvement in the handling of the cars. I’m not expecting anything for compensation as they still can’t decide what it will be and they should tell us what the 300 plus fixes were. It’s a shame as I really wanted this game to do well.

I still can't save liveries, the only thing they fixed was the map, and the map wasn't originally broken anyway. They broke the map with the first server update.

They fucking ruined it. I was having a lot of fun pre-patch. The SL65 AMG Black Series used to be nearly uncontrollable and burned tires in all gears. Now it is nerfed and feels like traction control is always maxxed even at zero. I am so pissed. It was really fun and felt like the real car, now it is sluggish and you have to try to get it sideways when before you had to try not to. Ruined the immersion.

Playing on PS5, my opinions the map is ugly to navigate hard to see small icons especially with it all being pretty dark. I never felt there was any issues with sound if anything the sound design is the one thing that has always been good, apart from that after the patch connection issues are miles worse I have not yet been able to join a race, never had any issues with dealerships its mainly terrible connection issues making it basically impossible to play the game. Frame rate and textures "seem" to be better during rain or wet weather, I'm getting a lot less blinding white reflections than before. But over all this game has been a major disappointment as a whole, doesn't feel like a test drive game, feels like 90% of the game is missing and it's still in alpha testing. I really hope it does improve as I've been looking forward too it for many years.

The more i see games absolute fail on launch the more it actually aggravates me abit cause when i was younger games came out when there were FULLY developed we wouldn't get a unfinished game and wait for a Patch to fix the stuff that shouldn't even be in. In the past i remember game developer used to do so much Game Testing with third parties so they could get feedback and inprove but it don't seem like theres no quality control in testing and the developer have the attitude of "Give it to the players they can test it for us for FREE and they won't complain if we give them a game that completely wont work" If games dont go well abit like "Dustborn / Concord and now Test Drvie unlimited" it seems like developer get the impression they know what is best for the player base and what we'll love which isn't the case as i remember when i was a kid developer you used actually ask the community for ideas or for help but now it's like frown upon or looks down upon if a game company ask fans for ideas or help

For me ive never had a crash or no connection issues that effect the gameplay but I will say that it's not feeling like tdu some times Positives .Driving feels amazing .Graphic are pretty good on PC .Im enjoying the new map .The Cutscenes is not as cringe as the TDU2 The Bad .No house or house customizing .cars don't match up to the real thing in prices . Ai is way too quick and impossible to beat .Every race seems to start at night or in the rain .The ai is mismatched in races like a 2cv with a mustang and so on

Tdu2 was same. Lots of lags. As example after this update my 3090 show me low fps whatever video settings I tried. Even FHD with ultra shows me 14-30 fps. Game broken (( It need time, like half year or updates. But it was same with tdu2. Still tdu2 my favorite racing game for all of the time.

Not as bad as cyberpunk but it's pretty bad, I bought C.P. 2077 on my PS4 at launch and it was crazy how many bugs/crashes/hard lockouts were present, but Im pretty baffled we are getting RACING games in 2024 that look this rough for 60$+ (90$+ for me w gold edition in the U.S) . I'm sure it will be a great game in a year or two 🤷

Forza Motorsport had a just as bad release and its still not completely fixed. as a Original TDU player from way back i thought it could be a great return to form but like Turn10 studios it was hastily rushed out with things still broken... what a waste of my hard earned money :( :( :(

this is just massive amounts of copium, even if the servers weren't in full working condition after the patch people had the exact same issues they had before, disconnects, crashes, unable to do races, unable to race in a group all the same issues as before. Waiting another couple of hours for the servers to be "back fully" whatever that means won't suddenly fix all those issues.

After update all my races i already did give less payouts and XP and they not reset no more . Its impossible to advance no more that selor pass . Game is a trash unfortunattly. Cyberpunk whas at least playable on lunch 😑🤦
