@ryanskywatkins Or out of their time entirely, I have heard anything quite like this. The shreiks sort of remind me of the brothers, but I'm guessing their vocalist probably drew inspiration from the make up in the first place o_0 first I have heard of this band tonight, any other suggestions/.

You should listen to more 70s Soul, the Make-Up were a fantastic band, I happened to see them in 1999. Their mix of music is beautiful but not unique. Love with Arthur Lee for example, there are some songs of Make-Up you could call a rip-off of Love songs, but I would rather call it a hommage, they don't hide their roots. (Free Arthur Lee...)

@br4ve Hey mate, try Royal Trux or the singer's old band Nation of Ulysses. If neither of those work for you have a dig at 'Panis et Circenses' by Os Mutantes. Fkn love this band.
