You don't call an illusionist out for "pretending to do magic", you know it's not real, even though the illusionist would say it is. This is really very creative and i love the concept. I admire all the work that went into this and all the creativity and dedication of each of these great voice actors. Also huge props to the sound designer for that great blending. As a graphic designer I know how much work something like this can be, although myself am completely clueless as to how audio is mixed properly.

Hah, I don't know how to feel. On one hand, I completely believed that the original video was just Rob and Andrew sitting in a room and shooting the breeze. It was an amazing feeling, being tricked. On the other hand, I'm disappointed that Rob doesn't hold this prowess himself but am appreciative that he gave all of these wonderful people credit. The video was extremely well-done. To an enamoured fan like myself, it seemed exactly like Rob was making all of the voices himself. I couldn't be more pleased; for some reason, I don't resent him at all for tricking us -- this new knowledge only makes the original video better.

Why so many dislikes? I was mind blown, this is such an awesome project and an awesome idea. Really awesome of Rob to think about this and gather all these talents and edit them together to make a viral video. The whole concept is genius and it came out to be genius. Yeah a lot of people said it could be fake and it was but at least he showed us how he did it. Amazing, bets of luck to him. I hope he's gonna make even more crazy projects in the future :)

This is hilarious, it's like people thought he sat down, came up with this devious plan whilst steepling his fingertips a la "Mr. Burns" style, and thinking to himself "I'm going to fool the crap out of all the idiots in the world, muahahahahaha." He's a fun guy, he came up with a fun plan to do something fun with his friends (Who AGREED to it...), they had fun and figured they'd share their fun on the internet, and a week later posted "ha, gotcha!" I mean, they made the "How we made this" video WHILE THEY WERE DOING IT. They clearly had no intention of keeping the charade going, and knew people would call them out. This showcases two things: 1) His talent as a songwriter. I like the song personally. 2) His talent at lipsyncing. Go back and watch it, his lip syncing is spot on almost the whole time, just look at his mouth and facial expressions. I want an actual logical explanation as to why so many people feel so offended by this. I've scrolled through all the comments and I've yet to see one, they just keep saying "I'm mad" and go off in their juvenile corner. That or they're trolling. In which case troll on. Cheers.

It is called a trackball, i don't know how people get used to it, but the main deal they say is that you don't have to move your arm to move the mouse, you use virtually just your thumb. Precision is not a problem though, there are even pro gamers that use it, it is just a matter of getting used to it.

Rob CAN whistle, it's just that Bora can whistle way better. It's not the first time Bora's whistled in recording, either. Check out Hymn For a Scarecrow by Tally Hall, which is the band Rob's in. Bora did the whistling on that, too.

Even though the song wasn't sung by a single person, I ,personally, still think that this video was pretty amazing. Stumbled across this video by chance when i was checking out a video by game theorists, which eventually through the comments section and browsing through the other videos, took me here. What I'm trying to say is i find it really amazing how all of you guys agreed to do something like this, which turned out to be really entertaining. I mean , while you didn't do any of the voice acting/singing , you managed to bring these guys together, and what makes all of this amazing is when you decided to come out and tell us that this video was made with the help of those other awesome guys! Honestly, that's one of the hardest things to do. I seriously, think this video deserves more views and so does the original video, it's full of talent people! What is there not to love! I mean seriously, I'm pretty sure showing this to a random stranger would still leave them amazed even if you told them it was made by several people !

Honestly, why didn't he just show who was really singing? It's already impressive that a relatively small group can do that many voices. So, why did he have to fake a more impressive feat of it being all from one person and then make the truth less exciting when the truth would have been fairly awesome in its own right?

When I first heard this song I was ten years old. I loved this song so much and was absolutely amazed that one man could do all those voices. Eventually, I fell down a rabbit hole called Tally Hall. Now that MCRs back together, I was reminded of Tally Hall and this little video that made me fall in love with music. I'm sixteen now, and finding out it was a hoax makes me laugh, but I still love it. You'd think the magic would be ruined, but it isn't. Every time I listen to his music the magic is still there, that's what makes Rob's and the rest of Tally Hall's music so magnificent. You can't separate the magic from the music, no matter what.
