The Making of a Kendo 'Men'

In this video, Takahiko Kawabe, president of the All Japan Budogu Group, shows us the Making of a Kendo 'Men' in The Kendogu Workshop of Japan Co.,Ltd - the only workshop in Japan with craftsmen capable of creating an ENTIRE Bogu set from scratch.
As you can see, each piece of Kendogu by the Kendogu Workshop of Japan is made individually, from scratch, for each order. No corners are cut in the production, and our craftsmen pride themselves in the quality that they offer.

剣道防具は高い！というが、この手間のかかりようは…。これだけの工程を経て、出来上がって来る。今、自分の側にある、この防具を作って下さった職人の方々に感謝します。自分の代わりに痛い思いをして、自分の身体を守ってくれてる防具にも感謝します。その防具は自分で担ぎます。それが、作って下さった職人の方々と、自分の身体を守ってくれてる防具に対しての礼儀と思い、防具を大事にして行きます。

Cual es el material que se usa para asegurar el menbuchi al futon, en Ecuador no he conseguido nada similar para poder reparar los men, y en el caso del do me toca reemplazarlo por cuero, Saludos
