@chiefminger2000 Clearly you prefer Graham Norton's more comedic, casual style of interviewing but to describe this interview "wooden" is inaccurate and mean spirited, and to say you "feel sorry for Kylie as a real person" as a result is so over the top. Paris played to what her fans respond to about her persona- which is maybe the factor that you found "wooden" - but if it's just not for you then that just comes down to personal taste. Considering all the questions regarding Kylie's products (the wine range and he perfumes) I don't think anyone needs to feel sorry for Kylie- Paris helped increase Kylie's brand awareness in the USA in this interview.

Love Kylie so much, my all time fave album is Impossible Princess, she is so Iconic I loved her early 2000’s era as well, a great interview and loved hearing her own perspective on her career, Australia will always be proud of her success and we have literally watched her grow and become the true icon that she is, she remained strong, persistent and broke through the barriers that people tried to box her into, she really is an inspiration!

Paris, you did so well interviewing in very lay back way that brings out the best of people and you did that with Kylie. Kylie is not only outwardly beautiful, but inwardly as well. She is the best overall performer I have seen in my life and I have followed many great artists. Can't believe nearly 40 years later she is still on the top of her game and bringing out #1 albums and songs. I don't know any other artist that has achieved this and still performing at this level. no she didn't do well, in my opinion. Paris seems very stiff and boring, reading from the manuscript, looks unsure what to say and unsure of how to respond to what Kylie is saying. A bit more of "natural" conversation style would've made the interview better or Paris could've at least pretended she was interested.

Nicely done Paris! Kylie is so giving in interviews and seems to put the interviewer at ease with her casual, laid-back responses. It's the Australian in her shining through, so down to earth and charming. ICON is not a strong enough word for our Kylie, and yet we could just as easily adore her sitting there in her "tracky dacks and ugg boots". Impossible Princess? Possibly...

26:13 she is so humble and self-effacing But she used her earnings as a child actress to book studio time and cut demos - and then she sang on TV specials alongside her sister, in the soap opera that she starred in… and finally … at a charity event which is where her impromptu cover of the Locomotion was first sung live - to a stadium of people no less, and then became her first single and Australia’s biggest selling single of the 1980s … so she really worked consistently and created her own chances and luck to break into music .. it was no simple accident - she worked hard for it… she still does and she deserves it!!
