Testimony: This episode made me actually sit back and reflect over my life and growing up in the church. In my 25 years of life, I have never had the type of relationship with God that I have right now. It’s not because I go to church more or tithe more (which are important in your walk), but because I stopped taking God for granted. I was going through the motions but my heart wasn’t in it. At one point, I would get annoyed when I was going through something and people suggested prayer or going to the Word because logically it didn’t seem like it would help. This year, I decided to really invest in my relationship with God and let me tell you - talking to Him and reading about Him have literally been so rewarding. It may sound corny or cliche, but prayer literally changes things. I’m on my journey to truly falling in love with Jesus and I’m so glad about it. If you’ve made it this far down, I pray that you truly accept God into your heart. Literally the best decision I have ever made.

I’m a Christian as well but I haven’t been to church in a few years. I know god is beside me and he always taken care of me even when I never notice or asked. Sagittarius88 the blessing in that is that nothing can separate us from His love. Even us. I have been through a lot of things that made me feel like why me, but I have also been in situations where I know it was only his favor that got me this far. It helps me to remember that having God in my life doesn’t mean I won’t have problems, it just means I’ll never have to go through them alone again. He’s always there to comfort me and hear my frustrations. I just have to remind myself to take them to Him.

Whew listen. I’m going through the toughest time right now. My birthday was a couple days ago I got my heart broken a couple days before that after being in a toxic relationship for over a year. I’m in a super vulnerable time right I graduate from college in less than 2 months, waiting to hear back from graduate schools, finishing classes, working etc. and this episode has me ready to run a lap around my job because MAN! Sometimes god adds so much stuff on your plate at once he knows you can handle in the long run but you have to come to him for guidance and Shelea ! Whew I’m literally at my desk crying and I’ve rewatched at least 20 times because pain hurts so bad in the moment but one day it will be a distant memory and you just need to make a prayer for better circumstances YOU KNOW ARE COMING
