I still get Goosebumps whenever I see Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill standing together on set, in costume. It's feelings like that that make me appreciate Snyder's take on DC over others. With Man of Steel and Batman Vs. Superman, Snyder made the scenes where the big characters meet each other have a sense of impact, something which Joss Whedon didn't understand. The theatrical cut of Justice League missed the true scale of the characters coming together.

Most people hate it? Bro, actually just RT and New York times critics hate it, actually Google Movies say that around 80% of the fans liked the movie. In IMDb most of fans gave the movie a 7 or 8, and I can continue a whole list of critics that liked the movie (Specially the Ultimate Cut) like Collider, The Guardian, Cineclick, Omelete, Ovicio, etc.

personally, the only details that I would remove / change about this movie are: 1.- the Martha thing / Instead would've make them join forces to save Lois, showing Batman that Superman actually cares about humanity (and cos she's the key, like Flash says) 2.- that excuse of a Doomsday / Just keep Lex jr as the main baddie, perhaps having him making a super suit stronger than Batman's, cos that Lex + Zod DNA = Doomsday makes no fckn sense 3.- Wonder Woman / yeah, she was great and all, but would've been more intriguing just to have Diana as a cameo when Bruce is at Lex's mansion (just like it happens in the movie, but no WW in the final fight) 4.- Superman "dying" / Are you seriously killing Sups in the second movie, with no JL around to go his epic funeral, just to bring him back in the next one? lol Apart from that I think this movie has great moments, although is hard to ignore how they were rushing this Universe to compete with the MCU, when that wasn't even necessary. If this Universe was treated with real focus on telling a coherent story instead of trying to catch up with what others started like 8 years prior, probably we would've seen Sups smile more in Man of Steel 2 and, most importantly, we would've got that brutal Batfleck movie fighting Deathstroke revealing more details of his past. Damn you, WB, Damn you.
