I am honestly so thankful for that clip on love island for bringing me to your music. I feel like we all have artists that get us through a season of heartbreak; Tegan and Sara got me through my first at 19, and here I am - 33 healing from a new lost love and you’re carrying me through.

I’m more in love with this song knowing it’s a continuation from the author, I listened to that song everyday for months straight, and everytime the melody always comes back to my mind and I listen to it on repeat for a couple of times. 😂 people don’t understand how in-depth those lyrics are when I tell them it’s my fav song “ I don’t wanna stay here, I wanna be in your arms by the sea 🌊 “ and the sea reference in counting housed just makes more sense ❤️

You’re amazing and your voice is so real, raw and authentic. Any time me and my friends are sharing new music I always somehow bring up yours. No matter the amount of adversity or struggles you face don’t ever stop making music, it’s your calling.

luz, your music is so so amazing and has really meant so much to me over these past few months. the author really kept me grounded during lockdown (i would listen to it at least once a day). all your lyrics are so well thought out and just so beautiful. i'm not sure if you'll ever see this but your music is truly something to be treasured :)) even though i live across the world, all the lyrics, the melodies feel almost nostalgic and so real

Everything we do is subject to judgement. It’s so hard to fit in and be yourself when you don’t even know who you are trying to be. I love your song and the meaning behind it: Don’t be afraid to be yourself. :)

Hiya Luz, I think you’re great this song and all the other songs I’ve heard from you have something very special inside each of them. You’re what the LGBTQ + community needs right now. You’re the safe place, your words encourages others to be themselves. I look forward to more of your beautiful talents. ❤

I've loved all your projects since I heard "Unconscious" on your channel!! I was wondering about the meaning of "Counting houses on the street where we lay/ Devoid of color and too neatly arranged". When I first heard the song (and the million times after), I always figured that the neatly arranged houses were a metaphor for "traditional" families and how overbearing the pressure to have one can sometimes be, specially for queer women in non- accepting regions. But, because you mention this lyric around the part where you say that doing anything with someone you love is exciting, I believe my interpretation was all wrong. Do forgive my curiosity. It's not all the time that I get to talk to.... "The Author" of a piece I like. (I'll see myself out for the pun.)

Oh wow your amazing! It’s not fair that people are discriminated for there sexually. It’s like saying “oh your silly for living the way you live.” I hate it and it must not be fun. 😕
